Frequently asked questions

1. What is the Occhealth Search?

Answer:Occhealth Search is a custom search tool that we built utilizing Google's open api, it is focused entirely on Occupational Health information.

We created the Occhealth Search tool to assist anyone looking to find relevant information on occupational health quickly and easily, whether you are a researcher, human resource manager or company manager.

At Examinetics we have a dedicated team of Occhealth industry experts who have come up with "Pathfinder" documents on the most popular topics, ranging from Asthma to Working With Solvents, that will help guide you through the process of learning all you need to know about Occupational health matters.

Our experts have spent many hours sifting through the mass of information that is out there both in traditional literature and on the internet. We have passed on their experience to you via our recommended results, so that when you click on our Professional Resources filter not only will you be presented with any relevant "Pathfinder" (if available) on the subject but also links to information we consider most useful and up to date.

Besides the filtered Google results the Occhealth Search tool can be used to search the Examinetics website itself and the services we offer. We also thought it would be useful to generate a set of results that is led by our users. We record the links that all users of this site are saving to their clipboards and thus probably finding most useful. By selecting the "user favorites" filter you will see, in order of popularity what other users of this site have chosen to save to their Clipboards based on your keywords or search string.

2. Why should I create an account?

Answer:Within the Occhealth Search on the Examinetics website you can make as many searches as you want for Occupational health information whether you have created an account or not. You can also save results to a clipboard for one session. However, we hope you will be coming back regularly to Examinetics to use the Occhealth Search. Creating a user account will allow you to really benefit from using it.

We ask for only the very basic information from you and do not use or share your data in any shape or form except to generate the user favourites where you remain completely anonymous.

Once you have created a user account not only will you have full access to your personal search history, so that you can easily re-find any information that you come across while using it, but you will be able to save Clipboards as you create them, along with any notes that you have added to particular links or to clipboards as a whole.

Having a user account means you can manage saved results across multiple clipboards so that they are easier to locate and reference.

3. What is my Clipboard?

Answer:Your Clipboard is a utility that allows you to save links found through the Occhealth Search that you want to store for later.

There are a number of useful tools available on your Clipboard, each of which are accessible via the right hand side of the Occhealth Search toolbar in the silver panel at the top of the Clipboard. These buttons allow you to:

  • Email your Clipboard to yourself or others
  • Print your Clipboard
  • Create new Clipboards as and when you want
  • Manage multiple Clipboards and name them for easy reference
  • Write notes related to either individual links or Clipboards as a whole
  • Contact a Professional researcher at Examinetics with any problems or suggestions regarding the Occhealth Search

4. How do I save a link to my Clipboard?

Answer:To get started simply enter what you are searching for in the Occhealth Search box on the left hand side. All the results for your particular search terms will be displayed with a plus sign to the right of them. To add a link to your Clipboard simply click on the plus sign and the link will be added to your Clipboard on the right hand side of the screen. You will see a notification at the top of your Clipboard which will confirm that you have just added a link and the plus icon on the left of the original link will be replaced with a tick, to show that this link has been added.
